Uniting the Sri Lankan diaspora through humanitarian service.
We approach compassion as an action word.
About Us
Project CareLanka began its work in 2018. We are an organization that initiates health and well-being-related projects to call on and focus the efforts of the Sri Lankan diaspora in giving back to the island and its people, especially in their times of need. Our local partners and individuals provide their services on a voluntary basis, and all initiatives are designed for direct and maximum impact.
“Getting a leg will be such a strength, such a relief. It will be like getting a new life. I will be able to put my heel on the ground and walk.”
A New Initiative: Distribution of Potassium Chloride Medication
Due to the ongoing economic crisis, many Sri Lankan hospitals are lacking basic medical supplies to care for patients. One such necessity is potassium chloride (KCl) which is used to treat low levels of potassium, an essential mineral for the function of the heart, muscles, nerves, kidneys, and digestive system. In partnership with George Steuart Health, the fastest-growing pharmaceutical importer in Sri Lanka, we aim to supply 5000 units of KCl, manufactured by B. Braun Medical Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia.

“With our income, we can never afford an iPhone. It is only a dream. No words can aptly express my gratitude to everyone involved in making this dream come true by donating iPhones to us. The iPhone has changed my life for the better.”
