Due to the ongoing economic crisis, many Sri Lankan hospitals are lacking basic medical supplies to care for patients. One such necessity is potassium chloride (KCl) which is used to treat low levels of potassium, an essential mineral for the function of the heart, muscles, nerves, kidneys, and digestive system.
